The Badfxgames team took a trip the the annual North East Retro Game Show.
The show is now into it’s 4th year, the organisers aimed to get together 100 arcade gaming machine, 60 pinball machines and 60 consoles to exhibit.
There are competitions to enter, cosplay and many more fun and games.
This year brought a change of venue and was moved to the Gateshead Leisure Centre which was easy to find.
There was parking for 100 cars immediately next to the centre and plenty off street parking to be had close by.
We arrived early and were allowed into the venue and shown to the waiting area after we collected our prepaid wrist bands.
There was ample seating and tables available as well as a canteen selling tea, coffee, hot and cold snacks.
The show itself was not as busy as some of the other retro games shows that you can attend and there was plenty of space between stalls and didn’t feel overcrowded.
The vendors had plenty of the older games and consoles for sale, some at much better prices than those you can find online.
It was nice to go and support the local guys and we hope they and the visitors had a successful couples of days.
